Keisha Wilson
CCS, CPC, CPMA, CRC, CPB, AAPC Approved Instructor
Founder / CEO
Keisha has worked in the healthcare field for over 20+ years, specializing in various areas of revenue cycle and compliance with a focus on retrospective, prospective, Evaluation and Management audits. As well as auditing and coding of multi-specialty, documentation, and coding Telehealth/Telemedicine services, Risk Adjustment/HCC provider and coder education/training and webinars.
Keisha has held various positions in large teaching hospitals and acute ambulatory care systems; including Outpatient Coding Specialist, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Specialist, Compliance Operations Coding and Billing Manager, Interim Director, and Consultant to various coding companies. She currently sits on a Board of Directors for an outpatient mental health clinic as well as collaborates with the AAPC editors on various Primary Care Coding Alert articles and Healthcare Business Monthly.
Keisha is passionate about her work and thrives on excellence. She understands the vital roles that everyone plays in an organization, from the front desk registration, provider documentation, coding, and billing to making sure claims go out clean and compliantly the first time. She goes above and beyond to assure physicians, other qualified healthcare professionals, coders, billers, administration, and HIM’s staff is kept abreast of the ever-changing coding and healthcare documentation guidelines and payor policies. She makes certain that they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources needed for success while increasing revenue, reducing denials, and mitigating risk.
